For one of Ryan's therapies he now gets to do hippotherapy. He LOVES it. Here is the website if you would like to take a look, www.childrenstheraplay.org. His therapists thinks this will be really good for his development. He looks so cute riding a horse, now all he needs is a cowboy hat and cowboy boots. Sorry the first picture is blurry, I guess he was just riding so fast :)

We had a full schedule planned for tonight. First we went to the Fire station to trick or treat and got a tour of the station. Then we did some trick or treating in our neighborhood before going to our church for a Harvest party. We started at 5 and didn't get home til after 9. I got the pictures below all out of order and don't feel like fixing it :) So you can start at the last picture if you want them in order.
Ladybug and Buzz in bounce house, feeling the sugar buzz for sure.
Told them to give Ryan a small one and look at what he got. He loved it.
Just what they need at 8 o'clock at night.
Walk through the Bible
Each station had a separate Bible story. So cute.
Waiting for our turn for the walk through the Bible tour.
Tour at the Fire station
Buzz to the rescue
Cute little Ladybug
The firehouse guys got SUCH a kick out of Jake. He was a hit.
Action shot
They had so much fun.
Buzz Lightyear or as Ryan says "Buzz atyear"
Our little Ladybug
Our big stinker.

This year we went to Tuttles apple orchard and pumpkin patch. We had a BLAST. We took a hayride, picked out pumpkins and the family favorite was the super long corn maze.
The kids always look forward to carving pumpkins. This year Katie and Ryan did all of the messy work by themselves. Jake did 100% of his pumpkin prep and carving by himself he was so proud of how it turned out.

This is the second year we have been able to go to the Covered Bridge Festival. The kids LOVE to go and the best part I think of it all is that they get to see there Mawmaw and Pawpaw. Enjoy the pictures
Here is a picture of the kids the first year we went 2010. The twins are wearing Halloween shirts.
Here they are this year in the same bridge wearing the same shirts????? Maybe I need to feed them more. I think Jake looks taller but Katie and Ryan look almost the same.

I recently loaded cell phone pictures onto my computer and thought I should post a couple more recent ones. At the end of the summer we had gone to the Indiana State Fair and this is the only picture I took from the fair but I thought it was cute.
My three little piggies
My kids love to pretend to be babies. Jake is usually the baby and then Katie and Ryan are either the Dad and Mom or Dad and Sister. However, when Jake is at school Katie and Ryan usually both like to be the baby. The problem arises because there are no adults, so all it consists of is them both whining, crying and crawling around the room together. It had gotten quiet and I didn't hear them acting like babies so I went in and found them both "asleep". The seats they are in are the seats we used for them when we lived in Africa. I saved them because they are so small I thought it would be fun to use them for dolls. I had also saved a couple of dummies to use for there pretend play.
Look at these two really huge sleeping (and smiling) babies

Jake spends a minimum of 8 hours a week swimming. Even though we feel like that is an awful lot for a little guy he just absolutely loves it. He is a super good little swimmer and we are so proud of him. He has been struggling lately with his times but still managed to win the highest point winner for the eight year olds. He got a big trophy and was so proud of himself. We went to Monicals after the meet to celebrate and he proudly walked into the restaurant carrying his trophy just hoping that people would notice and make a comment :) After some encouragement (by mom) finally a waitress made over him and his trophy and also another fellow Monicals lover came by to congratulate him. He was so proud and smiling from ear to ear. It was fun to see him so excited. Here is a picture of him in all his glory.

We had such a nice Easter weekend. We had our friend Linda from South Africa staying with us. It was so nice to have her and we were super sad to see her go.
The Easter Bunny always leaves treasure maps at our house and the kids have to use there map to find there baskets.
Here the kids are finding there Easter baskets. The easter bunny hid them way to easy this year, within 10 minutes all three baskets were found. He underestimated Jakes map reading skills.

We met one of my friends at the bowling alley to bowl with her son. Jake has been bowling quite a few times and was an old pro. Katie and Ryan have never been and were so excited even though they had no idea what they were going to be doing.
We got there and got Jake his shoes and then I tried to get Katie and Ryan shoes but Ryans braces wouldn't fit in the shoes and they didn't have shoes small enough for Katie :). They let them where there own shoes.
Jake and his friend Grant used bumper pads on the lane. Katie and Ryan used the bumper pads and a ramp for the ball. It was so much fun we are going to do it again soon.

Katie and Ryan's birthday was March 15th the weekend following their birthday they got to have a big party. My pictures aren't that good but you will still get the idea. We had a lot of fun. Before the party I took them to the party store and told them they could pick out any theme they wanted. Ryan picked Diego and Kate picked Dora. I thought that was awesome because I had seen the cutest cake at Walmart that was Dora and Diego (see pics below). Can't believe they are three, they are growing up way to fast. Jeremy and I are cherishing every moment with each of our kids. Enjoy the pictures from the party.
